MEXT’s Health and Hygiene Information Website for Schools for Foreign Students is operated by mediPhone Inc. as the Platform Project Office in “Health and Hygiene Environment Improvement Project for Schools for Foreign Students (Professional Platform Project for Health and Hygiene Environment in Schools for Foreign Students).”

MEXT held Advisory Committee on the Health and Hygiene Environment in Facilities Aimed Exclusively at Educating Foreign Children in 2021, at which a decision was made that while utilizing the knowledge of operators of schools for foreign students, the local governments, NPOs and other stakeholders as well as that of health and hygiene specialists, The Advisory Committee will give consideration to the responses to various issues relating to the health and hygiene of schools for foreign students including countermeasures against COVID-19.

Based on the results of this Advisory Committee meeting, this website has been established to provide information nationwide and offer a central consultation service to secure health and hygiene environment in schools for foreign students.

MEXT’s Health and Hygiene Environment Improvement Project for Schools for Foreign Students takes following actions and release updates and related information on this website.

(1) Release multilingual information on health and hygiene to schools for foreign students.
(2) Offer multilingual consultation service about health and hygiene to schools for foreign students.
(3) Hold seminars and training sessions to enhance understanding about health and hygiene in schools for foreign students and share our activities in this project.
(4) Collect, check, and control beneficial information to secure health and hygiene environment in schools for foreign students
